Circa 1860. Gold toothed leather top with top tier opening to reveal compartments for stationary, ink and pens. The writing slope opens to reveal a satin birch interior fitted with four drawers. Drawers on one side with dummy drawers to the other, the panelled front resting on carved cabriole legs terminating with bun feet. The back finished with a burr walnut panel.
