A Pair of Good sized Marine Oils by F Haynes, signed and inscribed on the stretchers, Dutch coastal scenes.
English artist Fredrick Haynes was a gifted sea painter whose paintings were exhibited little during his lifetime. Although not a well known artist, Haynes' paintings show a good deal of merit in their treatment of sea, sky and color, all composed.
Haynes is listed in the Dictionary of British Marine Painting by Denys Brook Hart
