A Beautiful French Escritoire, circa 1870. Inlaid throughout with floral marquetry and banding in satinwood, tulipwood and ebony. The front is inlaid with a beautiful musical motif. The interior has three small drawers mounted by arches, decorated with gilt metal figures with pigeonhole drawers. Large drawers beneath.
A very fine piece with fabulous use of woods by the maker.
